Dreamscape

At Mono Lake, the tufa towers rise from ancient water with a presence that feels both quiet and otherworldly. In the darkness, their forms seemed to hold a stillness shaped by time, solitude, and the strange beauty of this saline shore. As light revealed their rugged surfaces, the scene opened into something deeper than landscape. Above them, the distant glow of Andromeda and the faint green edge of airglow widened the sense of wonder, connecting this silent place to a far larger cosmos. What moved me most was the balance of it all: stone, water, sky, and life held together in a moment of rare calm and reflection.

Dreamscape was selected for inclusion in The Four Elements – Earth, Air, Fire, Water, a juried art exhibition at Modern Visual Arts Gallery in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 2024.
